I would like to acknowledge the time and money Country Lumber, Inc. has saved by doing business with Harley and rest of the crew at Becker Reload.   

For starters, ordering lumber by the "rail car" is of course a better deal especially when I can pick it up right across the street. Harley would just let me know when he had it unloaded, and when Harley said it would be ready... it was ready! I can send a truck in on the way back from other deliveries to pick up our shipments.

Two instances quickly come to mind when Becker Reload went above and beyond to save us time. (And of course, time means money!)  

The first occasion was when an enclosed semi trailer showed up to our yard to deliver a very large load of cedar hand-split shakes. The only way to unload the semi was with a forklift small enough to fit in the semi trailer. Ours was "in the shop for repair", so I called Harley. Needless to say, I was able to send that truck across the street to be unloaded.

Another time that I truly benefited from my relationship with Becker Reload was when a very large window order for Colorado was scheduled to be in our yard a few weeks before the semi truck our contractor ordered to deliver the load would be available. I was able to borrow a trailer to leave in our yard, so our crew only slid the windows a few feet instead of lifting them numerous times after finding a place to store them.

At GE Water, our shipping schedules can change w ith very little notice, especially at the end of the quarter. When we need storage for our equipment, it may be short-term, or long-term. Becker Warehousing and TJ Potter trucking are awesome at reacting to the challenges of our schedule. They're second to none in their inventory accuracy of our stored items. When securing and tarping our equipment for delivery they handle it like it was their own .  Delivery   to our customers are on time and it  all  arrives in great shape. I can't say enough about, Harley , Todd, all the warehouse guys, drivers,  and dispatchers.

Since January of 2004, Becker Warehouse and Reload Inc. has handled engineered joists for us, ranging from 12' up to 52'. They unload our joist from railcars and trucks and then hold them in inventory until they are needed on the job site. We just call them with whatever needs to go; they'll put together best-fit loads, create bills of lading and coordinate all of our deliveries.

Becker Warehouse and Reload Inc. has also been very accommodating with our short notice and unexpected deliveries into and out of their warehouse. Their central location is key to quick and accurate deliveries for us, plus their inventory management and fleet of trucks minimize s our shipping and handling costs.
